I’ve been blogging for a long time, so when my son Elliot came into the world in the summer of 2009, I only managed to hold off writing a blog about it for about two months.
At the moment, I’m a stay-at-home mum, living far away from all of our family. London is great for baby chamber music concerts, special museum groups and so many playgroups per square metre it’s mind boggling. I do miss Canada, and our hometown of Vancouver especially.
In my previous life I was a senior editor at a big arts centre writing about classical music, dance, visual arts and literature events, and this is still a big part of who I am.
Finally, for clarity’s sake, when I write about a product or event, I’ve paid for it myself unless I say otherwise.

PS. Read about how I’m learning the cello at Fugue State and detailed musings about cooking together with my mum at Aubergine & Eggplant. I will occasionally cross-reference if it sorta makes sense to. You know how it is.
